Building Memories!: May 2010
http://fullofhappymemories.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 9, 2010. Cameron turned two years old on May 4th! I can't believe it's been two years since he was born. I'll never forget watching him appear and holding him for the first time! What a thrill and blessing. Yesterday, Saturday, May 8th, we went to Cameron's birthday party at the Childrens Museum in Tacoma. All of his friends and family were there. So many children, so much noise! It was finger, just not mine! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Cameron, Grandma, and Grandpa. It all started in 1984!

Building Memories!: October 2010
http://fullofhappymemories.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 30, 2010. Cameron spent the night with us last night. We took him to the Three Ward Halloween Dinner and Trunck or Treat. Elizabeth brought his Mickey Mouse costume from last year from him to wear. He didn't like the darkened cultral hall but he really enjoyed the Trunk or Treating. It was like he just couldn't stop himself! Then he had black icing on his face! When we were finished we shared a cookie. While I was eating my half he took it out of my mouth and put it in his! The eulogy i...

http://quiltygirl1981.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2015. Need a Bigger House for my Hobbies! It's still pretty dang hot around here, but I am holding out hope for some coolness in the (hopefully) near future, as tomorrow is September! Yay, birthday month! My friend gave me a hand quilting frame this week, I already have a regular old-fashioned one, but this is a fancy roll up, tilt-y one. I brought it home and it's bigger than I expected and I don't know if I can find anywhere to keep it! These two little monkeys were playing quietly u...

Update: Now the eruption is in Eyjafjallajökull itself and here is a new link. Hopefully it works but from time to time it doesn´t because of the online traffic. There have been big floods and will be while the glacier is melting. Evacuation is something that the people around the volcano are getting used to. Here is a link. Guðrún Á. Rögnvaldsdóttir. Virtual world blog tour. Iceland. It was Chookyblue´s. We start at my home. My dear friend Carole. This for my little princess, how sweet is that :). As yo...

Meandering Quilt Thoughts: Busy Life
http://quiltygirl1981.blogspot.com/2015/02/busy-life.html
Friday, February 20, 2015. Christmas was great, but a little quiet compared to last Christmas since we were missing 2 kids this year. I've been to several states over the past couple of months for a wedding, baptism and a move. I made this quilt for my new bedroom, to drape over the old chair in the corner, flannel on the back - perfect size and very cozy:. Here is the quilt I made for the baptism boy - soft minky on the back:. PS We welcomed the 9th grand baby on Christmas Eve - she is darling!

Tuesday, January 28, 2014. A Penny for My Thoughts. I also have thought more about the amount of time I have left in this doctoral process.64 days, as of Sunday, until I need to have my dissertation defended and revised and into the graduate school. Sometimes that scares me to death! But I thought about how many days Joseph Smith took to translate the Book of Mormon.about the same amount of time! If God can help Joseph Smith then He can help me.I can finish this in the short amount of time I have! I am p...

Meandering Quilt Thoughts: Christmas Dolly Quilts
http://quiltygirl1981.blogspot.com/2014/12/christmas-dolly-quilts.html
Tuesday, December 16, 2014. I have 5 granddaughters and for Christmas this year, I made them each a "Dolly Quilt" out of scraps. For the modified "drunkard's path", I used the amazing "Quilt Smart", a fusible interfacing, you cut most of it out, so it's not too stiff, and it's easy peasy, lemon squeezy! I also made this pretty quilt for my beautiful sister, Heidi, out of a jelly roll and some white fabric. For her birthday. Hope your holidays are merry! My Huge Quilt Studio! Friday, June 19, 2015. Life Just Gets Busier. Well it's been a while since I've blogged. I think I've been a bit depressed since both of my boys that lived in my same town have moved across the country to Florida! Kind of lonely around here now. But, I have traveled to Florida three times in the past few months, and also stopped in at Texas to visit my daughter and her family, but I did miss grandchild number 10 by a couple of days! However, he is coming to visit next month - yay! My Huge Quilt Studio!

Meandering Quilt Thoughts: New Bedroom
http://quiltygirl1981.blogspot.com/2014/12/new-bedroom.html
Friday, December 19, 2014. I realize I was remiss in posting the "after" pictures of our newly remodeled master bedroom. We are absolutely LOVING having a king sized bed! I still can't believe I live in this beautiful bedroom! We are sharing a nicely organized closet:. I've re-hung the pictures of my beautiful children and their families:. Here is our ginormous bed! And I finally made the bolster pillow to go on it after months of procrastinating! It was hard - there were curves! My Huge Quilt Studio!
