Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Queen of Hearts for a Day. The decree was issued.there was to be celebration for the upcoming arrival of a sweet baby princess. I would attend the event as Queen of Hearts . So I quickly got busy sewing my queenly outfit. Brushed off my crown and prepared for a most exquisite event. And oh, what an event it was! The minute I entered Wheatley Castle, I was met with flowers and crowns everywhere. Fairy godmothers, and princesses galore. Found my sweet Princess and her little Pea.

Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Today is a very special day.my dad turns. To celebrate, we decorated the backyard with flags, an antenna, a POPS chair . One master sailboat . And eight smaller ones (representing his children). We hung his ham radio call letters. Nautical flags (VGP, his initials). And prepared deelish food. Thursday, March 27, 2014. A Little Birthday Present For A Four Year Old. I made this little pink overnight bag for a little girl's fourth birthday. It feels so good when I am able to create something with a pattern, fabric, trim and a zipper that I already have. No trip to the store needed here. Thursday, February 7, 2013. Hearts for My Mother. Made this heart from an old map of the bay area and central valley for my parent's front door. Isn't my mother cute? The heart stickers are placed where each child, grandchild and great-grandchild lives. My family is so lucky to live relatively close to each other. No one has to hop a plane to come visit.
