College. Chicago. Whatever Comes Next. Smitten with the ‘Mitten’. Better Late than Never: August 2011. August 26, 2011. Why haven’t I really updated my blog lately? Because I’ve been enjoying life so much that I forget to write about it! Her mother, after taking time to mull and ruminate, responded favorably as she gave us her blessing, reiterated that she trusted me, and ultimately granted her approval for Laura to come to St. Louis for the upcoming Labor Day weekend. On that note, our superior dating h...

October Beckons | discovering adulthood
https://qajtown.wordpress.com/2011/09/29/october-beckons
College. Chicago. Whatever Comes Next. September 29, 2011. October beckons a sense of newness in my life. Here’s why. Not to be exluded, of course, is my anticipation for the hockey season as well. The St. Louis Blues are looking as talented and determined as I’ve seen them and I – along with hoards of others – expect great things. Let the games begin. What else does October bring? And every new day spent being with Laura that is better and more meaningful than the one before it. Did you hear? Fill in yo...

a Reciprocal Exchange: back in Delaware

Tuesday, November 2, 2010. A place of training and development: EP. Is the first church that I was really connected to as an adult and they took a lot of time to train and develop me. When I first attended there I had no idea what a Presbyterian church was and had a very slim understanding of theology. There were all sorts of people who taught me and then gave me opportunities to use what I had learned. In retrospect I see how important this investment was. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

a Reciprocal Exchange: NYC
http://areciprocalexchange.blogspot.com/2010/12/nyc.html
Monday, December 13, 2010. A is for active. B is for beautiful. C is for commerce. What if everyone came into New York to clean the city, improve the urban landscape, color with sidewalk chalk, partner with non-profits and other service agencies? This isn't to lament or denigrate shopping, because I bought my wife Christmas presents, but maybe another way of looking at things. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Hartford, here we come. Monday, November 22, 2010. When the Christmas music begins. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. The beautiful end of fall. Tuesday, November 2, 2010. A place of training and development: EP. A place of friendship: Coming back, after twelve years of being connected it is great to run into people I've known and been loved by over the years. Those long term relationships mean a lot, and it is refreshing to be around people who knew me in my college years. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Hartford, here we come.

Tuesday, September 28, 2010. A parade of children. Wednesday, September 22, 2010. So we had a great time in the mid-west visiting supporters and friends in St. Louis and Nashville. We got back on Friday night and are still readjusting. On the way home Wesley was awakw for 9.5hours, which was totally nuts. He's getting back on schedule and both of us are resuming the things we normally do. It is great to get back into a routine. Monday, September 13, 2010. On the road again. Place As we've been able to re...

a Reciprocal Exchange: July 2010

Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Teaching prayer and an amazing sandwich. I've been reading this book the past month or two and just finished it yesterday. Hughes Oliphant. Me to walk down it. Yesterday i went to Nardelli's. A well known deli in CT to meet with a college student who was in our youth group. They asked if I wanted the foot long. Or the half sandwich. And being a hungry guy, I ordered the foot long. Without hesitation. I'm not sure the picture to the right does the sandwich. Tuesday, July 20, 2010.

a Reciprocal Exchange: feet first
http://areciprocalexchange.blogspot.com/2011/01/feet-first.html
Monday, January 10, 2011. It was over three years ago now that I jumped into the blogging world and today I'm stepping back out. It has been a good way to give others the opportunity to keep track of our lives and in some ways I've enjoyed it. I don't know that I would describe myself as a writer, but I do like to write. I think it is the sense of responsibility. So, as I say goodbye here are my final thoughts:. You can see Wesley is growing and we are glad for the little boy he is becoming. He is a ...

Monday, August 30, 2010. But it wasn't all vacation. I've been derelict in writing on our blog so here's a brief. Update on the past two weeks. August 16 th. We experienced over some of the things we would have liked to have done as a couple, but couldn't do as a family. Against it.
