Sunday, January 30, 2005. Can you believe it? I've posted 3 days in a row! Nothing of significance, but oh well . "The Day After Tomorrow" was actually much better than I thought it would be, although I couldn't help but continually ask myself, "What exactly is the guy going to do when he reaches his son anyway? Holy cow is it ever overwhelming to walk down those aisles and have no idea what all you need, what kind of bottles, what size diapers, how many bibs, what brand of car seat, how expensive of a baby thermometer, and oh my goodness do I really have to use scissors on his fingernails? I thought we were really going to town, but then we had to leave so we printed out our registry to review and it was only 3 pages. Huh. And yet . I can't wait :).

Friday, April 29, 2005. It's interesting - seasons in Santa Maria don't depend on the temperature, but rather on whether it's rainy, windy, foggy, or just plain nice. Right now, we're in the windy season. The temperature is still nice enough (in fact, we actually sat out by the pool and took a dip in the hot tub this morning), but the wind can really pick up at times. Just interesting, that's all.
