The Brass Family: May 2012
http://thebrassfamily.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Keep up with Jeff, Sarah, Naia, and Fin! Wednesday, May 16, 2012. How to make a raised bed garden. First dig up a 4 by 8 area in the sunniest spot in your yard. Try to convince your neighbors that you truly are putting in a vegetable garden and not burying evidence. Get a 3 year old and 1 year old to do the hard, manual labor. Unfortunately, they get distracted SO easily. Pretty butterfly. Then, go "help" Daddy who is doing the sawing and drilling. Pick up the box of screws and then dump them ALL out.

Andy&AmyinAlaska: July 2012
http://youfounda3.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 27, 2012. Two months ago I was at home with Miss A while Andy was in Juneau. The high school drama department was performing their spring show, Cyrano. I wanted to go but wasn't ready for a babysitter to stay with A for the show's duration. Then, I was kindly reminded of the amazing Sitka Performing Arts Center's cry room! I'm glad we can take advantage of this in the future, enjoy supporting the community, get some entertainment and expose A to quality happenings (even if she sleeps! The be...

The Krieg Family: January 2012
http://thekriegs.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 27, 2012. Last Friday was Brendon's birthday so we celebrated the way all 32-year-olds dream of - with a pizza party and giant chocolate chip cookie. Happy Birthday, Brendon! To follow up on my last post, the bedroom swap didn't end up happening as planned. Colin was sick and spent most of the weekend sleeping like this. It was very sweet for Brendon and me to spend the weekend snuggling with our little man, but nothing makes you feel worse than a sick kiddo :(. Monday, January 16, 2012.

The Krieg Family: April 2012
http://thekriegs.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 23, 2012. I'm a little late on posting these pictures, but Simon turned one month old a couple weeks ago! We've had quite a few nights of five-hour stretches of sleep (it's not consistent, but exciting nonetheless), he's getting an old man bald spot on the top of his head, and we've seen some smiles. Big milestones for our little fella :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Like Father Like Son. Quote of the Day. Friends of the Kriegs. This life we live happenings of the st. paul becker's.

The Krieg Family: 3 Months
http://thekriegs.blogspot.com/2012/06/3-months.html
Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Guess who's three months old? The major event for Simon this month was starting daycare. We are very lucky that he is at the same center as Colin, and even has the same teacher Colin had two years ago. Although it's hard to drop off an innocent 3-month-old every day, I know he's in a good place and that he'll flourish there, just as his brother has. First day of school. Big brother is excited to bring little brother along. June 24, 2012 at 9:03 PM. Glad all is going well with two.

The Krieg Family: August 2011
http://thekriegs.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 7, 2011. Colin has been jabbering away for quite some time, but within the last couple months, especially the last week or two, we've begun noticing some real words escape his ramblings. Here's what we've been able to detect, although we're guessing there's more that we're not catching on to yet:. Uh oh (usually followed by him throwing something on the floor). No, no, no (after he has thrown something on the floor). Two (following "one" as in "one, two, three! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, July 8, 2011. No, not my book club, but the story time Colin and I went to a few weeks ago at the arboretum (when I was off and pretending to be a stay-at-home-mom). Lots of stories about bugs and animals, perfect for little boys. This place rocks. Yes, in this photo Colin is playing with his feet, but he actually did pay attention most of the time :). From 2011 6 June. Love this photo, and no, he was not winding up to nail Gwen with the noodle :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Like Father Like Son.
