In eastern Kenya, 160 girls, all victims of rape, are determined to seek justice. In Kenya, a woman or girl is raped every 30 minutes. Girls are raped by family members and men in their own communities. Many of the girls are orphans whose parents have died of AIDS. SEANA IRVINE – CHAIR. Seana Irvine has been working in organizational development and the environmental field for over 20 years, as an environmental planner, and in program development and community consultation roles. Since 1997, she has worked at Evergreen, a national non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring action to green cities. Fluent in English and French, with a working knowledge of Russian and German, Jacquie is a graduate of McGill University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
